LEARNING CAN HAPPEN-

AT ANYTIME ANYWHERE.

FOR LEARNING IS INDEED-

A LIFELONG PROCESS- ANCORA IMPARO!!!

Ancora Imparo, is an Italian word which means "Still, I am learning."

An amazing quote by Mr. Michelangelo, when he was 87 years old and working on St. Peter’s Basilica.

Michelangelo, was an Italian sculptor, painter, architect and poet of the High Renaissance born in the Republic of Florence, who exerted an unparalleled influence on the development of Western art. His artistic versatility was of such a high order that he is often considered a contender for the title of the archetypal Renaissance man, along with his rival and elder contemporary, Leonardo da Vinci. Several scholars have described Michelangelo as the greatest artist of his age and even as the greatest artist of all time.

When I read the quote, I kept thinking about it and with passing of time, its significance has increased for me. It seemed to be saying “look at everyday as something new, learn something new, do something new and yes I resolved to take my endeavours down a different path.

Professional development and involvement are at the core of our own empowerment. For, to stop learning, no matter what your age, is to succumb to a drab existence, and as Alfred Tennyson noted in his poem Ulysses, “How dull it is to rust unburnished, not to shine in use.”

What I have learned, the point is that no matter where we are on our professional pathway, learning never ends and the learners we serve need us to shine! That no matter whether we are done with our schooling/graduation/post-graduation or even higher degrees we should always for one side conduct ourselves as a student so that still we can learn and explore something new.

Life is not all about or all around the books. Life has much more to offer us to learn or to experience for which one should always be ready to learn.

Life is a commitment to yourself for continuous improvement that you are highly adaptable and willing to learn. You are always trying to find ways to get better at your craft, you listen to those around you and you are naturally curious.

To be learning is to acknowledge that one does not already know it all. To be learning is to grow intellectually. It is to go through life with eyes wide open and to enthusiastically seek new discoveries.

Don't put a full stop to your life. Instead of saying I have learned, say "STILL, I AM LEARNING." - These four words are literally a life-changing experience.!
